Project Alternatives Limited (PAL) is a results-oriented international consultancy firm which started in 2012 in Ghana. PAL is capable, competent and provides seamless consultancy services that contribute to the attainment of sustainable development. Core competencies are in programme management with focus on monitoring and evaluation, agribusiness development, research, rural development planning and management and rural livelihoods. Other competencies include organizational development, training and facilitation to provide holistic and smart solutions that lead to the attainment of sustainable results.
PAL consultants have conducted evidence-based research in several countries in small enterprise development, food security initiatives, organizational development and rural development in both Anglophone and Francophone countries in Africa. The team is made up of highly experienced consultants and research specialists with proven skills in the design and management of M and E Systems like the M & E system of US Funded Ghana Compact and collection of baseline data. They are also familiar with the Household Economy Approach and other survey methods including the use of software like CS Pro and SPSS for data analysis among others. Team members are moreover familiar with training and facilitation using the Gestalt Approach to Organizational Development.
PAL has outstanding experience with micro, small and medium scale enterprises as well as bilateral and multilateral organizations. Bilateral and multilateral organizations include United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Alliance for a Green revolution (AGRA), DANIDA, German Development Cooperation (GIZ), British High Commission and STAR-Ghana (Funded by UK AID, USAID, DANIDA and EU).
