Action for Rural Development International , (ARDI) is a non-profit results-oriented organisation based in Ghana. Our mission is to work in partnerships to create wealth and reduce inequality. We are well positioned to provide competent and seamless services that contribute to the attainment of sustainable development in Africa. Action for Rural Development international has been in operation since 2004 and over the period, worked together with local partners-NGOs and communities to design,implement,monitor and evaluate community-driven and community based programmes in HIV,water and Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), emergency preparedness prevention and response and sustainble livelihoods.
ARDI works proactively with a group of development professionals with a unique blend of capabilities. Other skills include private public partnership coordination, agricultural value chain interventions, gender, environment, and health initiatives to provide holistic and smart solutions that lead to the attainment of sustainable livelihoods. Action for Rural Development international provides evidence-driven interventions that empower vulnerable populations to lead healthier lives. Action for Rural Development international’s HIV/AIDS interventions, such as social marketing of HIV products, targeted HIV communication, HIV workplace programs, HIV programmes for in and out of school youth and HIV testing and counseling, are based upon a commitment to produce measurable health impact with emphasis on cost effective research and evaluation.
ARDI has a sister consulting company whose core competencies can be brought on board in the execution of projects. The competences include programme management with focus on monitoring and evaluation, agribusiness development, research, rural development planning and management and rural livelihoods. Other capacities are in organizational development, training and facilitation to provide holistic and smart solutions that lead to the attainment of sustainable results.
